Recipe of soft cookies

Cookies are something really simple. Both young and old simply love it and can make it. We love them generous and soft to go with our cup of tea or coffee. A little gourmet break which is appreciated at any time of the day… In the our article about slow food, we said we are slow food enthusiastic follower. Taking the time, cooking at home with fresh and healthy ingredients… It allows you to spend a nice time with your family or simply leave the problems of daily life on the side during a recipe that will make you forget everything, probably because it is too good. 









For at least 10 cookies, you will need :

· 200g of flour
· 100g of dark chocolate
· 100g butter
· 100g of brown sugar or vergeoise
· 1 egg
· 1 vanilla sugar sachet
· 1 tsp of baking powder
· ½ tsp of salt











1. Preheat the oven to 170° (thermostat 5/6).
2. Melt the butter (microwave or saucepan) until it is totally liquid.
3. Mix the butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl.
4. Add the egg + the vanilla sugar sachet and mix together.
5. Sift flour and add the baking powder and the salt.
6. Cut the chocolat to make chocolate chips and add it to the dough.
7. Put a sheet of baking paper on a flat baking tray.
8. Make little balls of cookies dough with your hands or tablespoons.
9. Bake 7 to 8 minutes in the oven.
10. Remove cookies and let them cool.


Don’t be scared if your cookies do not look baked enough. That is actually the secret to have a really soft center. If you prefer your cookies firmly cooked, let them bake 2 more minutes. The recipe can be adapted. Depending on your guilty pleasure, add what you like : nuts, peanut butter, almonds, white chocolate… Let your imagination and your stomach decide !
